So after not being able to get out yesterday the girlfriend let me out of the house for a little fishing. She seemed to catch all the nice ones though.

Hey,
What kind of pink rod is that? I need to get one for my lady and I didnt want to get her the standard pink uglystik deal from Bass Pro. I dont want to spend a fortune either cuz she wont use it all that often. We are going to naples in two weeks and id love to have that for her there.

Let me know,
Mikey

it actually is from wal-mart. when you reel it the reel have little lights that light up.i think it was $29.99. it was the only way i could get her to go fishing

Cool. The rod doesnt look too bad, I mean it isnt catching any records but it looks like it will do the trick.

Id really like to get her something better but Idk where I am gonna find that without spending a fortune.

its not a bad little rod. at night when the lights start lighting up everyone wants to use it. its funny to see full grown men asking if they can reel it in. she always out fishs me. I think its cuz i spend more time watching her pole while she reads a magazine than i watch mine.

my ex always out fished me, but she always uses frozen shrimp AND i have to act like her first mate. she calls other people to brag as well, yeah those twenty toads you caught (that i had to take off the hook) really embarrassed me. i let her have her moment, i'm not a ***k.

cool; what size hooks were you using? I was out at mathers for a night trip 2 weeks ago; caught a couple nice trout, whiting, and a crap ton of catfish.

i also had 1 monster snook all the way up to the bridge; buddy was to slow with the net and it got off

honestly have no idea, probly 1/0-2/0. yea i seem to catch a lot of cats and trout at night there. what did u catch the snook on? once the bait starts running through there it gets fun, BIG tarpon sit right under the bridge and will hit almost anylive bait dropped in front of them.
