I was fishing at the 41 bridges today, and though my luck wasn't so hot, other people had a good day. I was there from 11am - 2:30 or so, and I personally caught a ladyfish and small pompano. 15ft away, a guy caught a 3ft or so black drum and 10ft to his left a guy caught what looked like a 4ft tarpon. The tarpon was taken on a 10 white mullet, and I have no clue what the drum was caught on. I have a good pic of the drum, but my Iphone is not cooperating. I will update with pic when I can.
P.S. I did get a good run and fought a fish for about 3 mins, but it spit the hook, which accompanied by my lead, went whizzing by my head. It must of had some ummpf to it, because it was on my big rod.

Re: 41 Bridges
Nice! All I ask for is a fish that size, if I caught it on the first try I'd throw all my bait away and speed back home lol.

Nice report, but from my experience black drum that size suck to eat, they usually have worms and the meat is really really tough.

Re: 41 Bridges
thats a good size drum. actually a drum that size isn't bad but once they get bigger then that the fish looks sorta beat up and got all kinds of red mark lookin like sores on the skin.
