which boat do you prefer SAMANA OR BLACK DOG out of jupiter inlet. do they drift or anchor. what kind of rod and reel size hooks and weights thanks

Both these boats are drift boats most days of the year.

I have always fished a Penn 3/0 with loaded with as much 25 lb test as I can spool up. 1/2oz. to 1.5oz. will get you down on most days....

Those setups will work. If you have an additional spinner with 15 -20 lb mono I would bring it rigged with a few foot of 50 lb mono or short wire along with a few kingfish jigs. Never hurts to float...

I hit up sea legs twice last week but the current was ridiculously strong, making out for some bad fishing. Post storm should the conditions be better? Worse? or is it unaffected?

Fishing was on fire after Emily and now that we have had all this wind all week should turn it on again. The weather has kept me shore bound but I can't wait to get back out there when the wind dies....
