Took a kayak ride from Deering this Monday. Paddled over huge schools of mullet. They were mostly being attacked from pelicans and the occasional school of jacks.

Recently, a buddy and me were fishing and we had planned on grilling some catch when we got back to my place. Anyways, one of the fish I caught was a blue tilpaia I believe, but it appeared slightly...

I stopped by El Capitan off US1...they have great prices. I picked up an unfair lure and a popa dog to try out. I used the popadog at dusk just close to Fairchild tropical garden and got a few trout...

I typically wear my rain boots but they don't offer much grip when walking through mud. I fell a few times on my last outing an that is never fun. What are some good boots for swampy/muddy spots?

Hello all.

Just bought a 5' cast net. Still learning how to get it to open fully and drop looking like an umbrella.

Worked out my shoulders big time this Sunday.

It has been some time since I used a cast net myself but once you get the hang out it, they are loads of fun. You just have to be careful while throwing it. I have thrown more than the net a few times...

The Googans were thick on Tuesday (Dec 30 th) but they were not catching much. Calm and clear water made it tough, but i dropped down to almost no leader and had a good day with decent size Spanish...

Well fishing this fall has been slow in miami in terms of the migration. Decided to test the rick the other day for fun around noon. I know alot of people hate on it but ive caught nice macks there...

So the mullet run never really even happened on Miami Beach. There were just a handful of days that pods showed up on SoBe and none were any bigger than say 50' across. Most days there was ZERO action...
