Got out there with 3 dozen of shrimp at around 7am.

Weather was nice until about 11am and it started to rain off and on. Left around 1pm, later than usual because it wasn't too hot. Glad I did...

Fished sunrise to about 12pm.
Total caught was a few jacks, a mackerel, and a few pompano.

Was there from 6am - 10am. Was too hot for me afterward.

Good constant off and on bite until 7:30 and then it's dead from there till 9:00 because of slack tide. Then from 9-10 got a few bites......

Hit SSP for some pompano and was able to land 2 and lost one. The pompano are nice size! Around 11-1pm the Macks were on fire. Every single on of our live bait got hit pretty quick. Had a hard time...

Was out there from sunrise to about 5pm...

Bait was everywhere but down deep. You either have to chum them up and castnet for them or sabiki them up.
A bunch of boaters out there trying to catch bait...

I'm a native and I've waded many different spots through the bay area. But Emerson Point is new to me. I've google earth'd the place and it really looks great. I've read as many threads as I can find....

I would hit the East coast for the mullet run. I am not too sure if the West coast have the mullet run as the east coast does.

Looking to find some sea trout and other eatable fish. I would like to fish in the central Florida Gulf side. Any ideas? What war biting? Is it better to take a charer boat out in the GUlf or Atlantic.

Did a little better. Got there right at dawn. Caught 5 mackerel. No silver trout - didn't see anyone catching much of those. Still trying for the big one but no takers.

Not sure I understand your question. We were fishing about 3/4 of the way down the North Pier.

Wife and I decided to try South. Got there about 7:30 A.M.. Started off very slow for us. A Gent next to us was pulling in Spanish Mackerel regularly. We tried his setup still couldn't get any....

I usually do the South one since it is the longer one and around this time of the year I would catch bonita at the end of the pier.

I visited the Clam Bayou nature preserve in Gulfport. It sure looks pretty fishy, but some of the folks that were walking around said that some sort of pollution killed all the fish and the area is...

its not a hot producing area. you may catch some hard head cats and silver trout, but thats about it.
