Hutchinson Island holding tons of bait

Post by bob733 »

For well over a month, Hutchinson Island has been holding tons of pilchards at the beach....Pelicans dive bombing them all day long. Easy to sabiki rig them, in fact, I had a snook hit a bait I was reeling in and had him on for one jump. Lately the pilchards are small but plenty full.

It is a surfers dream as the waves are fairly high and rolling with a strong North to South current. I just don't understand how the rest of the ocean is flat calm, and the wave action is so pronounced.

That sounds like one of those who really don't know anything about regulation.
I would never do that with my kids....What kids will learn...lol
