the only thing that's missing on that .pdf is the size and bag limits for each of the ones that are harvested.

with the regs changeing about every 2 months it wouldnt be worth trying to put them on there with each fish , think if you printed these out and laminted them and then went and got the regs from the fwc page it would be better and you can keep updateing the regs when ever you need to ...

i think the fwc is just lazy as hell and doesn't want to facilitate anything for the newbie anglers...they rather see people do things wrong than right...i have no idea how many times I've been approached by cops and wildlife officers asking me for my fishing license and checking my cooler for undersized fish and when they leave they have such a disappointing look on their face because they didn't get to right me a ticket...tough cookies, bro

nice
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad. :(

Is that fish between the horse eye jack and atlantic bumper called a leatherjacket also referred to as a skipjack? I grabbed one of a sabiki a few weeks ago at anglins and it stuck me pretty good and wrecked my hand for about 30 mins

Very nice post. Im in South Carolina, but I used to live in Florida. Ive caught most of the common boatless fish shown in that chart. One I didnt see was the "Key West Porkchop" - dont know the actual name.
Ive eaten a mess of them, along with grunts, accompanied by plenty grits.

Terrific post indeed. Is there a printed version of this available? A couple of the links are offline now? What is the name of the publication that this came from?

Thanks,

- Jacob

the pub is called fishing lines and is published by the FWC

you can download the the pdf file here http://www.myfwc.com/media/316618/SW_Fi ... s_Full.pdf

or you can go here https://public.myfwc.com/CrossDOI/Publ ... arch.aspx

and in the search block put Fishing Lines and it should bring it up where you can get a copy

Here's one that's a pdf file... you can save it to your phone and take it with you. It show pictures instead of drawing and tell you how to tell the different.
