That is a monster broadbill.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Nice Sword. Yummy.
The Judge asked the prostitute, "At what point did you realize you were raped?"
The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."

I have never use a electric reel and understand the purpose behind it. Do you still get the same excitement fighting the fish without the electric reel?

I don't know with a swordfish. I bet it is exciting. I can't even explain the power swordfish have. I have only handlined swords but I have used an electric reel for tilefish. It was exciting when I caught it. After you get a hit you have to "reel up" a little then you can feel the fish bouncing the rod. It is cool. I like all aspects of fishing from buoy drops, handlining, rod and reel , and even electric reels.
By the way, the travel marks on that fish are remarkable. It is so cool to see that fish close up and feel the travel lines. Those fish move!
I dream of a better tomorrow... where chickens can cross roads and not have their motives questioned
