Thanks for your help.
I'm not sure about all the piers, but Anglins Pier (commercial Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale) rents rods and sales bait.

Deerfield sells bait I think, but I dont recall on the Rod and Reel rentals. As James said tho, Anglins has everything that you would need, just a few minutes down the road.

DFP rents rods also - comes with a box of squid. No idea on the $$ though.

Looked last night, $15 bucks for the rod with a $25 security deposit required.

How many rods are you allowed to bring to Anglins?

I believe 4 rods plus a bait rod. The other guys will have to confirm this. I usually bring 1 or 2 rods plus a bait rod. I could only fish with one rod at a time. :D

lol true. I usually only bring 2 with a bait rod, but i've picked up two more so I was curious. Between my son and myself we could handle the 3 I would have in the water. The fourth is smaller for artificials.

I work strictly with spinners. 2 Baitrunner 6500's are my bigger reels.

Anglins
3 Rods + 1 Bait rod, but not strictly enforced, like it was mention they are just cool like that at off times.

It's annoying when it starts to get crowded and one guy has 2 freelines out on each side before the T. It happened to me the other day and the dude missed every fish because he had too much goin on. If youre missing all your fish and pissing people off, somethings wrong.

Freelined rods should be held and not put down, I can imagine why that pissed you off.

I bringing alot of diggerent combo's when I can, just because I like to keep options open....BUT one bottom Rod and artificial casting rod is really the max I will set out and at certain times, that is too much to effectively manage.

:uplol: In order to view that post you need to upgrade your membership. I believe Tommy is increasing his price for the new year. Call him quickly to get it at the old price. $100.00 is what I paid. :D

OK guys and gals, get digging some sand fleas as it should be off the hook from thursday through tuesday (maybe longer) with winds currently predicted to be strong easterlies the whole time period. The pompano bite should be off the hook.
