There is still plenty of fingers in my spots in Broward. A few bigger mixed in as well but they seem to be more tide driven in my spots.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

To Clarify a little - there are still some to be found to cast net for bait - But if the question was in regards to larger schools getting worked by predators along the shoreline - I think that may have passed, at least on the Northern end of the county.

Some inlets and backwater places are still holding fingers, but the ones I have seen in thge north, like FF73 mentions are getting larger and have some schools of bigger fish close by.

lol don't tell the Mullet that are still hanging out in my bait spot that the Run is over. They may try catching up with their brethren.

Netted some last night (fingers) at the intracoastal at the end of Johnson St in Hollywood. And there`s also some schools in Whiskey Creek.

Slowed down a bit, but not over yet.

Oh, and I saw some mogan silvers off an island in Miama boss of the house. That and a huge school of glass minnows. The owner of the property said they are always there so they must be resident fish. The silvers were mudding right next to shore and then a huge redfish chased them off. Off of 85 ST on the south side of the island.
