Mullet are showing up at Juno pier just scatterd pods in the surf and a few schools midway up the pier. Its mostly just bluefish that are in them but there are some jacks, mackerel, blacktips, and a few snook in them. Today a kingfish skied in mullet off the T. And a solid 20lb king skied right next to the first hut at the pier on mullet. I was quite suprised with that.

Lots of mullet school at bear point sanctuary today, :nopity: dusk & dawn but no predatory action like the inlet area of ft. Pierce.

Saw several small pods and finger mullet going south along Singer Island yesterday pm. Didn't seem to be much on them. Low tide.

No spinner sharks yet - heard someone caught 5 black tip sharks off the beach yesterday am.

6pm saw a 50' wide school of mullet about 80 yds off the beach at Spanish River Blvd in Boca Raton, headed North. Didn't see any sprays, but they were balled-up pretty good and flippin' on the surface.

( Rode my bike to the beach for a bit of exercise.... shoulda' brought my rod! :bounce: )

Also went yesterday for 2 hours. One small school of mullet passed under the pier and one medium sized school passed just out of reach off the t....that one was being pursued. It was pretty slow though a couple makerel were landed, one bluefish, one baby cobia. I as most had no luck casting lures. Later i soaked a fresh pilchard and after 5 minutes I had a bite, unfortunately whatever it was bit the back third of the pilchard off. Casted the 2/3 pilchard back out and five min later the clicker was screaming. I let it run for a couple seconds and when i came tight the line broke with barely a bend in the rod.. Was using 50 lb leader, but it broke at main line.....i think a fish went after my lead. Oh well, many years from now my kids will be old enough that i can make it to the pier more than 3-4 times per year and spend more than 2 hrs when there.

At PE inlet today from sun-up to 2. Early morning the tarpon where crashing bait pods everywhere! Went 0 for 2 on them  A few snook came up including a 40+ incher around noon. Everyone was getting hit. Around 1 the blues and jacks got relentless and I called it a day soon after. Mullet run in full swing! Its a great thing!

Finger mullet starting to push up into Dade canals as they slow the flow of freshwater. Saw them everywhere last night.

Huge pods of mullet coming thru the inlet. Morning bite turned on around 10 and stayed good till bout 1. Jack, snook and tarpon. Its still strong. Get on the beach!

Nice poon eddieftl, can't say the same for the Miami Beach action. Mullet all down the beach this morning, nothing was chasing them and they were loosely scattered instead of in tight pods. No fingerlings, all 8-10" silvers.
