Fall Run of stripers and blues was mostly a bust of sorts...

...but there was a nice little parting gift of a late run of stripers and blues off the Rhode Island breachways that lasted two weeks into December. It wasn't a continuous hot bite, but would be red hot for short periods of time (with plenty of down time/dead ocean in between)...probably about as late as I've caught 'non holdover' stripers since moving here to New England...but the striper scene has slipped into holdover only mode and hopefully we'll be giving it shot soon enough...as it stands, while not in same calander year, I have caught stripers in every month except Feb...so I'll be giving that month a extra hard push to find a striper willing to hit something:-)
