OK they're out of signal range so we can talk about them. who wants to be first.
Knowing how hot July was out there last year. If they started jigging at 6 this morning. What time did GK tell them to put that poop away!!!

Too bad there's not a camera on the boat so we could watch/listen what's going on lol. I guarantee theres a handful that are gonna be jigging a lot more than GK could handle but you know he didn't buy those jigs for nothing.

I was fried like a roach on a stove for three days in that July Hell last year. Not a scintilla of interest returning. And here's another flash.....three day old Pulley Ridge fish taste exactly like the crap you can buy at Publix (tommy but what a fantastic Boatless adventure with the best Forum players. I would pay a ton for a satellite feed to the boat over the weekend.

Not really. Just a pic here and there. If the ride is 12 hrs what is the cruising speed to get there? 8-10. Using Google Earth it looks like the will be close to the real drop off, but I guess it just gets too deep.

Success.

Some great drifts and some slow. Quality was the name of the game.

More later.

Great trip with lots of laughs great company and some nice quality fish. Sign me up for this trip next year. Sadly that guy was on the boat and made it interesting. Will leave it to Herb to give a full report but highlights were a 35 lb wahoo 2 gags over 25 3 sailfish and a mako hooked and numerous queen snapper to 15 lbs. and 2 of the biggest kitty Mitchell's I've seen
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

I know ya miss me (tommy Relax guys! Some of us like to get some rest after a long drive home or head to the Hogfish so they can cook us some nice fresh caught wahoo steaks(thanks Rory) & some beer before the ride home.

First a big thanks to Greg and his crew. Great operation you guys got there- looking forward to more trips. Greg, the way you handle the unexpected events was first class :thumright: Damn, my big black bag of dirty laundry was left behind. My beloved overall..... Thanks to Herbert for getting this trip running as this is no easy tasks- and next time listen to your bud :P

A good friend of the group, William didn't put the poop away till the boat said we are going home. William is a true jigger till the end...no bait he came with- that is how he rolls.... just jigging his arms off. His hook ratio was big and nailed a nice king that was landed and a sail that got away. And that fatty BlankFin tuna that put me in 2nd place. Many did jig but mostly were using bait or both.

The list of fish caught on this trip from, Kingfish, big gag, fat kitty mitchell groupers, almaco jack, Big AJ that we couldnt keep- 30-40+plus lb, mutton, queen snapper, yellow eye snapper, big blackfin tuna, black fin snapper etc..Many fish were knocked off the buck list. Congrats to the guys on their first trip out there and working from getting bait and putting the time on the rail.

He must have missed the memo- (tommy He did catch the biggest almaco jack- be safe Vic :thumright:
