4 Snooks on the Spidey rod

Poseidon10/31 · Post by **Poseidon10/31** » Mon Oct 06, 2014 8:13 pm

Went 4 for 6 on snook with the Spidey rod this am. 3 slots, a dink, missed another slot and a over. Couple jacks too. Fished finger mullet in the trough, down the beach tarpon and sharks were crashing bait, but I didn't bother to chase the action. Funny thing was, I caught more fish then the other guys, and none of them caught snook. Threw a couple clips of me releasing slots into a little vid to honor the Spidey rod.

You are definitely something else, Sir. So much for the expensive rods, the reels, the braid vs the mono, hooks, leader, etc.....I guess when you are good you are just good Period. Amazing that you catch so many snookies without having to use a boat.

Which planet are you from? Snooks seem to just obey Poseidon...

Well considering his name, to disobey him would be a true sacrilege! LOL Hilarious! LOVE the spidey reel! Good stuff bro, keep it coming!

Nice man. If you don't mind me asking, what time do you try to get out there? I was there a little before 7 am two weekends ago and the beach was already crowded with swimmers and surfers. Made surf fishing a bit difficult. It was a weekend though.

Un-frickin-believable.

I'm guessing that thing has a surprisingly good drag for the price. Did you mod it at all?

Haha gotta measure it before you release it to really rub it in. Good stuff!

Poseidon, I am truly impressed by your spidey pole game. Why do I have hundreds of dollars worth of gear?!
