haulover/surf 3-26-16
Went out with the lil bro for a late nite pomp bite...managed 2 pomps and a whiting from the surf in the first hr and then everything just shut down...so we picked up and went to googanville to cast surf rods with the local jetty "owners" LOL...water color wasnt the greatest for pomps, but it should have been good enough for a few...decided to rig up for one of those big silver dollars on fleas, and not even 5 min passed before my clicker went off! Fought it for about 10 min and up came this 13lb perm!!! Called it a day at about 9 am...im pretty sure some pomps came up after that since high tide was near and water color improved.

Re: haulover/surf 3-26-16
Definitely..without a surfrod or anything bigger than an 8 footer, its going to be hard..but can be done..i remember catching a 25 lber that took me all the way inside the inlet..thought for sure i was going to lose her. Thank god for my surf rods..lol
