Yea with drop offs it's just about how u rig the hook and not using too much weight to prevent from getting snagged on the edge

like baseball4life says, weedless is real important. I usually fish canals in the glades and i try to cast all the way across the canal to the otherside/bank and retrieve the fluke so it drops off the edge into deeper water. The bass tend to sit in deeper water facing the edge looking for anything that may fall into the deeper water. Fishing from shore on a lake is a little different but you will have to experiment.

6'' Stick-O Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series, any dark color will work. Just cast and watch your line for the take off :reeling:

Weightless, I Texas rig them (weedless style) but some prefer the wacky rig. I've seen people flip and pitch the small fat stick baits weighted, but they get their action from slowly sinking and just giving off a slight wiggle.

5'' one will get more hits but if you're targeting bigger bass I feel like the 6'' weed out the dinks.
