2nd Biggest red of my life - slob!

Post by Bluefish in ny »

Wading Saras Bay last night... Got one fish... But it was a good un! 37" solid red that got into my backing twice... Fish hit a plastic jerkbait in about 3 to 4 feet of water in the Bay. Waiste deep... Thunderboomers all around... No camera.... Memories are enough!

plastic jerkbaits never fail to amaze me, they have the ability to catch so many different species of fish, big or small, fresh or salt, i'd say they're the most universal lure ever invented. :toast: nice catch.

I was his fishing caddie and witness for this big red. It was a beautiful fish and he caught it while we were in conversation. More importantly, we were just discussing if talking during fishing would scare fish away...
