Quick trip 4/11 SSP

Post by tears143 »

Got there around sunrise and left around 10am. Slow day I would say. Got there and a guy was fighting a big fish, so I grab my net and leave it next to him. Line snap afterward... didn't get to see what he got. Then I just started jigging for pompano. It was a slow day... tide was bad as well. In the end got two pompano and lost one that is about the same size.

A Jewfish probably grab another guys pompano... LOL. There are macks out there but very scatter and hard to catch. Drifting a live shrimp or greenies or cutbait should get you some. The tide is very slow or non-exisitant at all so it's a good time to catch them sheephead. I was a few get pulled up. There are schools of big jacks out there as well. The mango are getting thicker but many of them are like 6", there are some keeper.

Those old queen slave owners that wrote our Constitution 200 years ago were brilliant.

"Every four years Americans get the President they deserve".
