Rough as hell out, plan was to fish the shallow patches for snapper/mackerel but it was no fun to be on anchor. After a couple mangrove snapper, we netted a well full of ballyhoo and decided to slow troll. The edge of the reef looked real fishy, and in 120 ft, had this 12lb bull dolphin ride a wave with his head out of the water all lit up and smash a bait. Kept trying for more of his friends, or some sails, but just ended up with some slashed baits from small kings/mackerel.
My buddy with his first dolphin
Couple short clips of us heading out, the videos make the ocean seem calm, it wasn't lol
