Jupiter last month
Been out a few times, found a wreck covered up in cookie-cutter 30 lb AJ's, a hit every drop. Perfect size for the smoker. I know there are some nice grouper down there too, its deep enough to keep the commercial spear fishermen off, will get one soon. Also found a nice ledge covered up in yellowtail and a surprise cobia, should be a good spot to anchor up and chum some big tails up at night this summer.

The boat fishing in that area is off the chain. Nice tails there
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Impressive catch as usual. Do you ever buy food like regular people or just kill your own?

:nilly:he's gonna send you one. Unfortunately, the commie started a business without inventory so he doesn't have any to sell. Guess that's one way to keep your start up costs down. If that was his yellow jig hanging out of the AJ's mouth in the pic I would buy one. But it's not so I won't and neither will anyone else.

I try not to buy much meat from the store, besides steaks every once in a while.Kingofthesea wrote:Impressive catch as usual. Do you ever buy food like regular people or just kill your own?
I have 2 chest freezers in the garage, right now they are full of fish, gator, deer, wild hog, duck, squirrel, and probably some other stuff. I'm a better fisherman then hunter, but I have friends that are happy to trade deer for fish.
Planning on buying a house on 5 acres soon, gonna raise some chickens and goats.
I like the idea of being self-sufficient.
