Pretty 'typical' catches this month sans the usual numbers of flounder and 'bull' redfish,
though some good ones were caught by persistent anglers...
and some even mighty lucky ( me with a CPR 15# red on 4# mono spin
The whiting numbers were down some this fall,
but the average size has been good ...
with some even approaching 2 pounds!
Large croakers (up to 2#) were one of the most consistent biters throughout November...
even in the cold outbreak @ Thanksgiving...
And the sheepshead bite (on live shrimp and fiddler crabs) got better
as the water cooled into the 60s...
with some fish over 7 pounds landed.
Other catches have included puppy (black) drum...
plus a few larger specimens (me with a CPR 26# on 6# Invisabraid spin
Hope to see you out there...
Thank you Lord for making it all possible!

Wow. Those are some really wonderful fish. You guys are so lucky for that great fishing up there except for those winter coats!!!!!! there is something to be said for catching crappy mackerel in wife beaters in December. Congrats on the great fish
