Thanks - I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I sure had fun catching it. I've caught a few more sharks since then, but that one was the first. I've "traded up" my camera a few times since then, and even did another kayak/shark video using a really cheap helmet cam. It came out OK, despite being at a lower resolution. A helmet cam really gives you the perspective of being the person catching the fish... kinda cool. A couple of things about getting "the big catch" in pictures, or on video... you can tell the story about "the big one", and then PROVE it! It also keeps you honest. You can't take a good fish story and "embellish" it by making the catch bigger... the pics and video always tell the truth. I don't mind that a bit... and you shouldn't either! That's one heck of a kingfish to catch out of a kayak - I'm envious! I've never caught one. They're a lot farther out from shore over here on the Gulf side.

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

I don't have any pictures but I have been taking my stand up paddleboard out a lot around the canals by Northlake Ave. Caught lots of small and medium sized jacks, the occasional bluefish, and have gone 1 for 8 on tarpon in the last month and a half.
