Today is rainning, tomorrow is Fishing...

Post by oceanorange »

Rainning today all up and across the mountains, expecting the river to swell and catfish to begin to feed even though temps are low. This water disturbance causes fish to excite themselves into a feeding frenzy.
I will be out there Saturday morning and will post Pictures.

LOL,, snow! hahaha, only someone from FL would ask that>>>>...

Fisinfool73 I still think about that day you caught all those macs when we met out there at the pier!
Hope you're doing well, by the way, remember that talk we had about lifestyle? Well it's definately good up here.
Fishing the rivers is a bit harder though than fishing saltwater.. Some Great trout Rivers up here, Yadkin river is still dark brown with sut.
The pictures above are the snow that fell that day I went fishing and busted my butt sliding down that hill almost into that freezing river water...

Looking to fish North Carolina Fresh Water?

Post by oceanorange »

Hello all, I decided to create a little site just for fishing the North Carolina North West for Trout, Catfish, Bass, and all other fresh water species. I'm working on a nice little tips and fishing log to give everyone guides as to what to use, where and when around the areas that I fish:

Check out North Carolina at www.oceanorange.com Image

Please don't take this as advertising, as I am not selling, trying to aquire users or any of that nonsense, I'm doing this to add to boatlessfishing.com.

If any of you find this note offensive in any way, please let me know.
Soon I will be helping Tom create his own fishing logs for Boatlessfishing.com,

Enjoy everyone!
Please reply with any comments or oppinions, all will be reviewed. Thanks everyone, miss you guys in FL! I'll take a trip down there next year for a few days.

Thanks bro!

The bosses at my company and another saw my site and now I'm under a deadline creating an online po system for them... They expect documentation, procedures and the site up and running by Monday.. cool though, I like the pressure.

so, oceanorange will be unchanged for at least until next week....
