7/25/09 and 7/26/09

Fished both early Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon/evening
Location; surf zone
Bait; sand fleas and fresh dead shrimp
Caught; Reds from 16 to 22 inches,
Drums from 14 to 20 inches
Whiting from 8 to 13 inches
Many small Pomps and blues
10 million trash fish!!!!!

And thats the way it was.

Great report , glad to see one from up in that area. Welcome to the forum.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Thought id share something for the ne region. Redfish, black drum, sea trout, and flounder bite has been solid. Most of the redfish have been slot. Plenty of black drum and sea trout to go around.

Nice, I was there last weekend and went to the pier to find out it was closed for repairs. Hopefully they get back open soon for you guys.
