Hey guys you can also cut the gimble off and put in an extension into the rod and after it dries you can build it up with tape for the butt cap. i have done this many many times and there is no problem because it is very strong and only sticking out 1-2" from the end of the rod- it doest get punished the same as if it was your "normal" extension over 6" on the rear. Just a thought in case Linesider wants that 2" back on the rear. If he doesnt you can cut the gimble off then measure up the grip and cut off foam the same length as the butt cap and that will work too. JUST A SUGGESTION YOUNG GRASSHOPPERS
