Company I found has all in stock to moderate prices and shipping within the EU is cheap.

5' salmon lol. Ever heard of the North and East Sea? Have a look

http://www.mcjazz.f2s.com/FishLandings.htm

Just some examples. Huge Cod Halbut n stuff.

Salmon and Halbut more to Norwegen but that is a stone throw away. Better than nothing and the building just for fun. The lic over here is no joke. Lots of Study and Exam and Euros.

Oh in the U.S

Well that is a different number. Very expensiv and needs to be insured and all.

Best to ship in a shared container and secured in a sturdy tube. Then you still got to get it out of the port. Freight declaration and all. Just a friggin mess

Not sure why they make it so difficult from EU to U.S but the other way around is way more easy.

Makes me mad cuz brother Nelson Could have his rods if the import to the U.S would not be that silly.

It will automatically be declared luxury good and taxed the hell out of ya and cheating is not good at all and for sure not advisable.

I need more info and who knows what can be legally done.

Raul you do realize the fukushima thing was related to west coast pollution from the japanese reactor that blew up couple years back. You know mutant pilchards LMFAO

Good to hear you want to build rod again!!!
Let me find out as I know a few Koreans who operate global logistic companies...
US Tax will be tricky as fishing equipment is regulated very differently...it has federal tax.
It may have to be international sales where someone buy(not import) rods directly from Germany... :toast:

Then you get the recreational surtax. The HTC's (harmonized tarif code) is somewhere at 19%.

On top of that the surtax.

I or we will find a way that keeps all in the legal zone. I imported and exported from also Germany several containers a week. What I learned is that they do not play games on the entering side and shortcuts dont pan out.

Play the gift donation game! Evangelical blow hards like Pat Robertson have been doing it for years. Rods a gift, and payment is a donation. Now it's no longer a sale and not bound by import taxes. Pretty sure you could structure it that way.

Yup Pat

Been thinking bout that one and already think to have a plan. Payment could be a reel.

Samples are cheap. Get it?
