Work sucks and the bite seems good. Hope it keeps up for this weekend if I don't end up in the islands.

went to the pier went home with 4 toy macks 14-16 inchers about 20 were caught all day from 7-3pm when I left I got there at 9am .

bluefish bonanza at the T

pretty good pompano bite

zero mackerel

fished 6am-1pm

Went to the pier, drank beer, broke off 15 leaders in the rocks, went back home, drank more beer, will try again tomorrow. Hopefully will have fish for dinner.

ill be headed out there tonight, hopefully able to get a small spot on the T but thats unlikley. hows the bait been? i gotta stop off at outdoor world and rack up on a few new things, and materials for some more rigs.

on a side note. does anyone here make their own sinkers? i have a crap load of lead but no molds or melting pot (yet) so anyone got the stuff for sale used or can make some sinkers for me, it would be appreciated. thanks all, and see ya out there. if anyone wants to meet up with me and my buddy, lemme know in a PM

they sell the molds/pots to make all sorts of different kinds of sinkers and stuff at outdoor world, I have seen em there a bunch of times.

The pomps were biting solid all day I hear thru the grape vine but by the time I took a peek it was really crowded. heard the guys that fish 5 lines and don't care where doing a few car runs and a call may have been placed to the FWC. Hit my spot on the beach and only got one from 6:30pm to 7:30pm and lost a couple also. (gotta stop leaving the rigs in the back on my truck. The tips of the gold hooks rust fast). Seems the morning bite has been good on the beach but I keep fighting with my alarm clock.

If any of you guys are hitting it next week shoot me an IM.

Nah, i got there around 5pm and saw a few pomps being caught into the night, and coolers of friends were stocked.

last night the fishing on the T was excellent, pnly because it was only me and my buddy. buncha blues, and even more mystery fish due to circle hooks not doing their job. at then end of the night, 3 blues landed, bout 18inch average, and some smiles b/c the pier is starting to produce on schedule again, right at 7pm and 10pm. gonna take a mild fishing break till i get organized a bit more, hope you all have a great day, and thanks.
