Nice yo! Yeah my girl's been on my pier days when we're there from like 5am-4pm. [Acouple weeks in a row lately] But when it's alone time and I'm like (hmm .. more fishing??

LOL) It can get crazy.. But I understand only some of us can fish nonstop for days LOL. Hmm.. might go to Dania tommorow, how was it today??

I got called in because someone didn't appear at work. I knew there were a few keeper Muttons, and Bluefish are still there at night. Glass Minnows took a beating the other day and are gone. Big Pilchards around, just have to hunt them down. Snook will always be there. Bright lights are off for now. Tonight was a zoo. Tomorrow will be a zoo'er.

Thanks Zebco. I remember being there when the dude with the lift that was goin 0.0000001 mph was fixing the lights. I had acouple beers so it was funny to me seeing it come towards the pier all austin powers movie like LOL. Has anyone been there at nights lately? I'm going tonight with the family to show em where I usually hang and spend some time with em on my day off. I wanted to see if anyone knew if the lights were still working?? Night fishing rules.

Brights are off now, for the turtles I guess. The yellows on the inside of the columns are now on.

yeah bro, nights are better in my personal opinion, prolly just a preference thing though. i dont like dealing with crowds or sunlight, so i go from 6pm till about 1am usually. good luck, report back with your catches

lol thats Dr. Acula to you! well i sleep like 4 hours a night, so i have alot of freetime at night, i just hate idiots crowding me or crossing my lines or whatnot, plus the cool breeze and all, if im gonna fish during daytime, id sooner bo on a boat

Yeah went out last night but didn't catch anything..

My girl, and my sister caught the blue runners, some bait fish (herring maybe??) and some grunts on the sabikis. It wasn't my night.. Plus I don't think I'm gonna go on a holiday anymore(Mondays is usually good for me), tooo many lines.. and it got annoying quick. Someone caught a big jack though! Carried him around the T LOL. Maybe next time for me.

i MIGHT go out tonight, but if not tonight, definately thursday, tomorrows my b-day so i cant really do anything cept drink and eat and cook and play

also, i have a question, something ive been debating for a while with buddies... at dania, whats the best frozen bait to use? i find fresh caught cut herring works well, and frozen ballyhoo, but no bait is better than fresh or preferably frozen mahara (however its spelled) but thats just something i prefer, does anyone else have any opinions/comments to help bring to the light quality bait to use (frozen)

sorry, late report - went out tuesday morning, 6am-10am

winds kicking at 18mph NE - lots of big pilchards underneath the T

sent them out in the end on the southeast corner, got monster hits, ended up catching a fat cero.

also got cut off on a trolley - hit above the wire! so i know there were fat macks out there.

didn't see any bluefish. couldn't see the snook, but lots of little pilchards closer to shore

Went yesterday from 4-9 to get bait, pilchards were not thick at all, picked at them from the t but 3 of us only got about half a bucket full. Saw a bunch of short muttons come up and one mack.

Went out yesterday with g/f from 5-11pm. Seems like I'm getting used to the amber lights.. but still haven't caught a mack,mutton,bluefish yet.

I'm gonna try to use some of the other types of baits. Had some of those small pilchards that my girl caught on the sabiki (by the t) and send them out but kept getting cutoff. (I think I need heavier line) Caught a big sardine with huge eyes

like these. And random fish. The cool part was that someone caught a puffer fish and they put it in their bucket (Kinda crazy) And it started puffing and letting out some liquid that murked the water! I also saw another big jack caught,some small muttons, and a small shark. I'm starting to like going there during the evening. Gonna try to get some of the lures/bait I think other people here use when I go next week..

yeah well, we tried everything under the sun last night for bait and got 0 runs, seems all the night hits were dead east or northeast, so it was just fun loading up on bait and drinking some beers and having fun watching people lol. good luck though, ill be out next week prolly too, MAYBE tonight

Yo Kevin! Cool I didnt know anyone notice me catching that google eyes, I didnt even notice the rod itself cause I was cutting up the bait on the other side LOL. After that my luck went downhill.. I think I need some tips on catching the good stuff so I might try to meet up with some of the people here when I can. (I was the guy with the traditional long sleeved white shirt and black shorts - I also wear white oakleys) Tonite I'm gonna go out drinking at gameworks in sawgrass.. and I work this weekend

I think you and your g/f were fishing next to me and kevin, we were on the inside part of the T to the right. Slow ass night it was.

fished yesterday from 1pm-6:30pm. i got 1 keeper yellowtail on a microdine and missed 1 nice mack hit on a trolley. i saw about 5 macks pulled up most of them on spoons and i saw 2 nice cudas hooked on trolleys and were fought for a little and then spit the hook. also a short mutton was landed. there were nice sized pilchards at the t pretty much the whole time i was there. i left the t around 4:30 to go fish inshore but there was nothing going on there. no pilchards to be seen but alot of moharras in the surf. a guy landed a 10lb cuda freelining a pilchard with no wire, a 25lb leader and a #2 circle hook
