good fishing for me today... about 8 Jacks ( i think over 18" ) good pull and two 17" Macks,
saw a guy pulling a 15" Pompano...bait was by the T all day..

i dont mind the trollie rigs at dania, what bugs me is that there's this crew that fishes the tee, every single one of them comes out there with 3 tall bottom rods that take up all the spots in the outer corners, and alongside the sides, while they share one bait rod

i went out there yesterday 01/06 from 5AM-12PM..Not much bait around at all. some mojarras half way out. Managed two yellow jacks on shrimp and lost a yellow tail trying to flip him. I didnt see anything else come up while i was there.

Fished from 7AM to 11AM this morning. Waters calm and somewhat clear. Most people on the T catching ballyhoo... not much else... I pulled up a small Blue Runner.

I've fished the piers of the panhandle for over 20yrs. I've caught everything from Blowfish to sailfish. Trolley rigs were banned back in the 70's do away with em down there you'll probally catch alot more fish. Less terminal tackle the more fish.

fished today from 10am-12-30
limitted out on kingfish all caught on trolly rigs

there was also a small school of ballyhoo out of reach, clear water and no fish

has anyone been fishing at night the daytime looks like pretty
slow now that were getting more cool air things should pick up

Fished Tue and Wed night a few Blues. Saw some bait swimming around. That's about it.

Good morning all. This is my second report on the site. I heard that some blue fish were caught overnight. Fished from 0600-1100. No current,no bait,no wind, NO FISH. When will the fishing pick up agian????

I had the same results... was there this morning from 0800 to 1230. Weather was nice though...

fished from 4pm-8:30pm
On the way out to the tee everyone i asked said they caught plenty of blues the previous night.
Right as the sun was setting the herrings showed up at the tee, then the wind died down, and we didn't get one hit the whole time.

Tommy aka Zebco said the blues left since the current was goin south yesterday and then it switched with the wind to the north today. makes sense to me but couldn't the current change directions tomorrow??

still had a good time casting out a rod, and chilling with friends.

Last evening the macks were solid on the beach chasing the glass minnows. Buddy got 3 nice ones and some other people had a lot more. All these fish were caught on the beach and you had run after the schools of macks or just wait till the next pod came down the beach. The night before throwing a small jig at Hollywood beach produced a bunch of decent blues. No one was fishing pomps which is what I was hoping to see being caught.
Is anybody getting any pomps. I accept PM's if you don't want it to be public knowledge.

fished from 5pm till 9:30
decent wind blowing towards the south, water was clear, like no current
was talking to a guy that was there from 7am, he said that there were hoos all over throughout the day and not one fish caught by anybody
herring came in thick by nightfall, little bro catches a bluefish, put him out for "baracuda" with no takers
on the walk back down we saw a whole crap load of snook cruising around in the lights all the way down the pier. too bad it was time to go

never fails everytime i go to dania pier there are a pack of indians with like 20 rods each and take up the whole T....i was out there like 3 nites ago and these fukers were taking everything and anything from grunts to undersize snook and nasty ass bluefish..they should not permit them to place their rods on every corner like that...besides half the time they were just tangled up...dam idiots cause of ppl like that that ruin good fishing spots..just my thoughts!

all u have to do is ask tommy or tex and they will
let you know whose fishing the tee it is frustrating
but they pay so they think they can do as they
please and they all stick 2gether.
