Nah, I didn't get there until about 10 and missed the snook bite. Just bluefish. Had to go for a late night swim to get my net off of a rock, kept thinking in the back of my head about all the big bull sharks that are supposed to be in that inlet

Rare - love catching them, but I can't get that slot for sh|t

lol that was the third pic taken. I was getting ready to go release her, but the dude who took the pic was ready to take another.

This was the second one. In the first one the flash didn't go off so the dude snapped another quick one as I was walking away. Hence the need for a third.

Thanks. Every time we started thinking about leaving something else would hit. First the shark and then the Blues showed up. Makes for a rough morning.

The wife and I both got keepers there yesterday evening and I got another one this evening. Silver mullet and small ladyfish for bait.

Have you ever meet James? He is over 7ft tall and looks like a trailer thug.

Damnit Chris are you catching a bunch through out the night or just getting lucky on the keepers? Everything is over slot for me.

Fixed I know what you're saying. I'm always checking the walkway making sure I see who's coming up. I haven't been out there by myself yet. Met a lot of good guys out there though.

Fished the inlet yesterday, mullet everywhere, tons of jacks, blues and ladyfish during the day. Got a nice surprise, a 25" redfish on a live finger. James showed up later and we were trying hard for snook, but no dice, just a few ladyfish.

At least I get to have blackened redfish for dinner, haven't had one of these in a few years.

Are redfish not common in your area? 'Cause there all over the spot I fish during all times of the day. Also, are redfish good eating? 'Cause i've caught quite a few but never thought of eating it. :biglaugh:

There are plenty of them a little further north up around Sebastian, but they are not extremely common this far south. If you catch one in the slot, they are very good to eat IMO.
