Went yesterday from 2-8PM flat current breeze and cold. Gogs were in pods under the mid hut and allot of gogs brought up for local bait. I went out with hand picked shrimp to see if any lazy fish would slurp them up bought three dozen at Dells, good size and decent price for the area. I landed three lizard fish on the shrimp and I have a dozen left in my tank in the garage. I floated a live gog out for several hours and it trailed out on a balloon for a few hours with no takers. Bottom bait of hoos, gogs and shrimp and no takers. Threw a spoon and several other lures trailing them slow and no takers with the artificals either. Water was clear as crystal. There was a film crew there from I think India taking shots under the pier on the beach so we has lighting all the way out to the T from their shoot. No fish tho yesterday. Beautiful sunset as the best thing there.

Went from 5-11 am today. Cold and wet. Current flat wind and rain from the sw running through your bones. Thought there might be some bonita in closer today with the weather but only saw one caught about 6 pounds nice fish and better fight, the kid who caught it had 6 pound test and he worked it all the way into the sand because nobody (me) did not have a net to land him. Had the "t" and the pier to myself for most of the time. Floated a balloon with a hoo on and did some bottom fishing with handpicked and under the pier for the hogs but limited bite, mostly reef fish. Hoos were thick up and down the pier hugging the bottom. Saw a school of snook smashing the hoos up and down the pier but did not get in front of any. Massive waves of steam heading off of the surf and it was a pretty awsome day for nature. Thought I might run into a retarded cruiser, cobia or jack but the fish knew something I didn't want to admit today.... too damn cold and wet. There were two anglers there when I left and Chad and frinds were heading to the pier when I was packing, maybe there was a bite after I left...........

Morning there ballyhoo and gogs for bait. With Bonita and huge macs busting the baits. Macs were being caught every now and then till sunset. Nothing much happening right now.

I was out there as you posted that report lol. We were there from 5-830. Saw a few macks caught, someone caught a small shark (i think it was a blacktip) off the T around 7ish. Crazy story though. I was reeling in my friends 4/0, and I pulled up a rod and reel combo that a guy had accidently dropped in earlier in the day. Gave the guy his rod back, he was so damn happy lol. Oh yeah hoos were around most of the time.

Slow day this morniing. Got to the pier about 6 and stayed through 12. A few nice macs brought up and a few jacks one being in the 12 pound range by Chad. Winds were blowing through and current was flat, hoos were plenty.

Nice work Scott.

Fished for a little over two hours today, lines in the water just before 7am to just past 9. Water was pretty clear (I thought) surface was flat with a slight current heading north.

Went through 2 dozen live shrimp, got one keeper Sheepshead, threw a second short one back and a puffer.

A number of guys at the T but passers by said there was nothing going on so I didn't bother walking down there.

Gogs were thick just west of the hut, if I had more time I would have loaded up and brined them for an upcoming fishing trip :(

Beautiful sunrise, nice morning.
