At least someone is getting some action. I have been fishing the A.M. Ed and have had no success; A few cut-offs but problably barracudas. With your advise I think I may try the P.M. bite. Did you fish Sunset? or just after dark?

Boca Jetty Rat wrote:Fished it sundown till 1am Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Blew out my flip flop on tuesday and steped on sharp rocks all the way back to my truck. Caught and tagged two bonefish on tuesday, and it was blown out on wednesday but managed to catch like 6 undersized mangroves. Two dudes out there with like 10 live bait rods out at the same time only catching one stingray. They hate to see the undersized mangos go back. They could always eat all the dead pilchards they had. :toast:
What were you using when you caught the bonefish?
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

Several days ago it was hot on the outgoing, 1 day had 6 snook, next day 10 snook ( 2 had significant size) and 2 small tarpon. Tide turned and just a couple of bumps each day, no snook on.
Fished the incoming for cuda using tubes with decent success, had 3 friday or saturday.

Big snook have def been on fire at the inlet lately. Too bad my camera broke, but now it's fixed

I only fish the inlet sundown and after dark. I don't care if its incoming or outgoing fish are there on both tides.

Baits are thick everywhere. Including Juno beach where I went today. Plus Boca Beaches proper. Very thick! :toast:

went 0/5 tonight around the outgoing. Absolutely embarrasing... Even had 1 snook throw the lure back into my shirt. Four times the hooks wouldnt stick; once the knot gave out. Did catch a good look at a few with the head lamp small and pigs. Great night for practice though...

Jeff you must have had your invisibility cloak on cause I was at the inlet all morning as well and didnt see ya at all. Same luck though, I fished with live finger mullet, bucktails, etc. and had no luck to show for it. Good luck this season.
