Where?

Fished the pier from 10pm to 2 am with my wife's little brother and had fun catching a bunch of little grunts but the place was dead other than that.

fish from 9pm yesterday till around 2pm the 2 on january nothing DEAD no fish go home

just got home from dania fishing sucks

Come on Grunt king, there is plenty of fish in the water, you can't just target a fish. Not saying you are not saying the truth I am saying you are not seeing what else is being caught IT IS NOT AN AQUATIC WASTE LAND I am sure Bluefish are over that pier at night with a few pompano being caught here and there, Snook bite should be picking up, also small Permit.
guess I am going to have to call some friends and get the low down.

If I don't see reports coming soon i will touch base with the pier management and get the
daily catches they are aware about and post them. For those who want to know. This would be a very easy task being I have a pretty god reputation and friends with the city of Dania.

I have and article coming out very soon in one of the fishing magazines about the history, the bottom structure and methods to fish it and what they are known for best of all at certain times of year. Not just this pier it will follow each month with another location.

My suggestion
If I was going fishing the last week I would have fish fleas in the HOLE at night with the moon we had, the Pompano I have seen in the water at night this week were all over 4lbs.

Live Shrimp in the shallows on a troll rite,

in and around any strips of sand and bars that were more than half way out, I would have chucked out a nice oily piece of fish and fish that one spot consistently cast to the same place and I am sure I would have found a Bluefish.

Pinfish have been stacking at night at alot of the piers at night.

Seen Bonitas shredding the Ballyhoo up and down Browards beaches.

Just my suggestions, I do have more

ok its not a complete wasteland there were a total of 2 blues caught allnight
there are a ton of grunt's to be caught. snook havent really been there if you sit down in the surf with some shrimp you might get one not a sure thing tho

seriously tommy fishing sucks right now at dania

i think in the last 3 or 4 days there has only been maybe 3 mac's caught

I know this month is a LULL for Broward, but you know me when it comes to fishing I try to be an optimist.

its tru tho iam out there with gk most nights and the blufish havent been around much i dont fish in the daylight i donno about macs.

Just got back from dania and even though I caught nothing but grunts I saw plenty of blues and something was rolling and chasing bait about 20 yards off the NE end of the T.

how did you see you see plenty of blues if all you caught was grunts

The man next to me caught two and you can see them flashing in the lights

the flashing str8 down are the butterfish we have huge schools right now not good for nothing tho

Lol well I know there were at least two out there cuz the only other guy on the pier caught em. My bad on the false sightings in the water. Nothing else better to do so I'm on my way back out there now, good luck to anyone else out tonight.

just got home from the pier didnt fish vreal long i think 3 till 9;30 wasnt much outhere today somebody got 2 mac's i caught 2 blues after sundown an saw 2 others landed aswell tomorrow might be pretty good with the wind blowing like it is

fished from 7:30 too 11 not much too show one bluefish only one other bluefish was caught and a couple of ribbionfish

was there also today in the evening 5:30-7:30. im guessing the blues where caught at the T? the guy at the front said macks where being caught earlier.

an there wasnt much after you left nothing the rest of the night in the morning joel caught a lil cero i had one spanish but a pretty large cuda took it from me it was just cool to watch that big thing eat

Early 60s I believe

fished last night for a few hours water was really ruff and dirty low tide to caught 1 snook in the surf but had to throw back he was 35inch, few bluefish and lots of grunts and small porgies
