Saturday morning
Can we say black drum? I seen like a few dozen caught in like 4 hours. Double and triple hooks up at once. They are all being caught at the end on the beach side of the inlet. A huge crowd out there. I really dis-like and didn't fish there.
A few pompano was caught there as well. There are a few big blues being caught as well.
For my group we manage to get
2 black drum, 1 mack, 2 jacks, 1 sheepie, 1 mango, and 1 whitey. Yeah it's a totally mix bag.

Was there Tuesday!

Can we say... Jacks? Macks? and Blues!
Those were the major player yesterday. The macks are huge! 25". They were feeding on mostly small greenies, I did manage to get them to bite 2x on my finger mullet... one time cut my line... other one missed my hook.

The black drum were slow... next to none existence... probably like 6 caught out of the whole pier. A bunch of cats were caught during the slow time. a few small mango... undersize... got a keeper in the mix. tiny sheephead. bluerunner. There's a few big red drum and small one as well. A keeper snook was landed. Pretty much a mix bag with macks and jacks are the key player.

the report for today is......... way too many tarpon in the 60 to 100lb range. there was about 60 hook ups and only a few brought close to the jetty which i am one of those anglers. some really big reds were caught on live bait(fishy bait). sometimes there would be 6 ppl all hooked to poons and other times 2 to 3 at a time. sharks were definitely out also. i got 2 and one was caught on a diamond jig.
