I walked out on the pier this morning around 10:30 and did not see anything being caught. THe only guy on the tee said he caught one big jack earlier in the morning and someone else caught a mack. It was a sparse crowd. Quite a bit of wind and waves but the water was not too dirty.

There wasnt anything at the pier today. No cobes, no sharks, and only a couple mackeral. One problem is that the pier is so shallow now. The Cobia have been 15 to 22 ft of water and the other day we went along the bouy line in the boat and it was only 13 feet deep there and thats 500 feet from the end of the pier. It used to be a lot deeper at Juno but now a sandbar has formed off the end and a lot of fish just dont come inside of it.

I've read this article from the Worldwide Angler Magazine... Thought I'd share it with you guys...I'm sorry for the bottom part of the pages since it got stuck from being wet with water...

How does that study take into account the bacteria in a fish's or shark's mouth or the acid from their stomach? Does that make a difference at all?

As far as reports from Juno I caught a real nice Hammer over 9 ft on saturday evening, other then that I have heard of much being caught especially during the day.

Thanks Chris for the report. Has there been any bait around the pier?
