BBJames, how long will you be around before you take off to AR? I want to make time to head up and fish at Juno before you take off. Also, James380 said he will show us what kind of fairy he is so you dont want to miss that. :D

Its green and not too rough anymore but there just arent any fish in it right now. Went last night and this morning and both times nothing at all. The snook have no reason to be eating right now cause there isnt any bait.

fished from 10am till close, not much early on but the mack showed up at the T i got 4 nice keepers and saw anothe 15-20 landed all nice sized, saw 2 short muttons come up, millions of tiny pomps in the surf to the first hut with only 2 or 3 keepers, saw 4 snook come up with mine being the only keeper :happyfisherman: later in the day the lady fish turned on like crazy. there was also a small red grouper that was caught on a cut dine. no bait other than sand perch. i got cut twice on the only 2 googs i caught all day.

bolo i believe im leaving next sunday so u got to hurry up. ill be out there tomorrow from 7am till 1 when i have to work if anyone will be up there. also im starting to sell all my gear for anyone interested check the buy and sell section.

I fished juno yesterday, there were no bait around anywhere, the macks came in but i din't have any luck catching them, I caught two nice big lady fish, one in the morning and the other one late afternoon. left them under the cutting table by the t so everybody could use them for bait. one of the guys that was fishing by the T cut one open to use as bait, and was surprise to see that it had eaten a little baby turtle, he came over to show it to the other guys fishing. othr than that by the time i left everything was quiet. Bibboyjames I think i did see you by the T, If i'm right were you the guy that was catching bait by the cutting table? if you are sorry that i din't say waz up i just got to read this post today. I was the guy that was fishing on the left corner of the T. see you next time.

the pier was slow today in the AM and early afternoon but did turn on a little later in the day. i got to the pier at 11 or so and stayed till close, i landed 8 muttons 2 were close to 16' but still a little short, 3 snook all short and lost one straight up and down that was more than likely a keeper, had a really big mack that when i went to flip it it straightend my crappie jig hook out, also i went to the T with 30 mins left and landed 2 groovers that were probly 12-14', didnt have my tape, and had something take me into a pilling which ended my night. also saw a few pomps come up along with the biggest cuda i have ever seen.

Damnit man. Maybe I need to try fishing Juno for the 2nd half of the day. I was there from 6-12 with one hit. Very slow day. Only thing caught off the T was 3 undersized Muttons and a Remora. Sloooooooooooooooow.

Oh Ricky you have jokes eh? lol next time my Rottie will chew you up.

Chris pissoff. Some one(not me) brought a banana on the pier. Killed the fishing from the T. Runners and spadefish were the big catches while I was there. I came with live greenies, perch, finger mullet and pinfish. Only thing thet got nailed was the pinfish. Unfortunately they took off his head and the hook was in the back. Great water color just no bait other then the small school of threads and the gogs that were both there for maybe 5-20 minutes.

P.S. saturday morning i will be selling about 40oz of weight including eggs, banks and pyramids from 1oz-8oz so if your at the pier stop and see me.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for your reports. How's the bait fish? Any around? Is the ocean still dirty or did it clean up a little since last week?

Thanks,

Tony :reeling:

Its dark green as of last night, going back this afternoon. There is no bait at all unless a school of mullet come by, but when they do they dont stay long. Juno at this time of the year if you want to use live bait its bluefish, runners, and ladyfish which get you sharks and the occasional king.
