Cool BR - their actually quite beautiful until you're walking through the woods and you do a face plant right into the center of their web (and them) and they run over the top of your head...WHERE'D IT GO!! WHERE'D IT GO..AHHHHH!!! I hate spiders...on me.BRunner346 wrote:i know them as banana spiders...looked it up and they are the same spider
I used to let the little ones crawl on my arm trying to get used to them...didn't work.

I'm fine with snakes, but I hate big spiders. I tried having a pet tarantula to get over it but that just made it worse once he bit me.

Re: Show Your Best Scenic Fishing Photos
LOL - when I was bushwhacking for sink holes (springs) up north I used to carry a spider stick...just any old long stick you wave in front of you as you walk to clear the webs/spiders. But when I was humping scuba cylinders and gear to dive the sinks, your hands are kinda full...I walked into them way too often.BRunner346 wrote:hell no! my biggest fear is spiders! i hate bugs period
Their harmless, just creepy as hell...AND BIG!!!
Snakes, lizards, etc., and MOST insects don't bother me...spiders are an alien life form that should be avoided at all costs. FWIW I would never kill a spider unless it was in my house...bad karma...I figure they will get even with me one day if I do.
