Bad news for me, I have to get back surgery for 3 herniated disks on Aug 19th @ The University of Miami Hospital. I just got the referral before the FFF trip and forgot about the BBQ till now. If I cant make it im sure you all will have a blast. If I can get out of the hospital by the 24th, il still be there with the family.

It will be good to see you out there Julio. Im glad you're feeling better. Sorry that you're getting the hard luck award this year but since we saw Benji & Will get hurt during the last tournies, we decided that there should be an award for it. You have an amazing story and cant wait to hear it in person. Congrats Julio!!!!

Since our team won the bridge and pier division, Im bringing the entire city of Hialeah and their chickens. Thats about 22,6419. I hope Ricky makes enough ceviche.

Alright gang. Now I need to ask for some help. If anyone wants to help out with food, drinks, beer,plates, cups, charcoal, utensils, sweets, music, decorations, games, kiddy pools, tablecloths, fans, etc... it would be appreciated. Boatlessfishing will be taking care of the main grill items but we expect a LARGE crowd (not including the hialeah residents and their chickens that Bolo's bringing).

If anyone can help out, just post it here so we know where we stand. ANY help will be appreciated!

BRAD: will you provide the sound system again this year????

More on the festivities:

We will be having a beach fishing competition again this year beginning at 800am. Bring your rods and tackle/bait to the pavillion and we will all go together to the beach.

We will also have a distance casting competition in the lake behind the pavillion. Bring your long rods and your own weights.

If anyone wants to sell or trade their gear or fishing items, youre more than welcome to bring your goods to the picnic. An area will be set up for you. If anyone wants to donate some equipment to the SBFG for our ongoing fishing & bridge cleaning events, please bring those too.

We will be having TWO raffles for a pair of graciously DONATED used 14/0's and Custom rods. All proceeds will go to our SBFG official mascot Tanner Hbroak. Tanner and his family will be in attendance. Lets show Tanner how much the boatlessfishing community is pulling for him!!!! A donation bucket will also be available if you want to add something extra!!!

The Shorebound Shark Tourney awards will be handed out after lunch at around 200pm.



I hope everyone here on boatless will attend and share in a good time with us. Cant wait to meet you all!!!!!!

We will bring plates, utensils, beer, and a dessert. We'll take a trip to Sams Club and get some stuff, it wont be enough for everyone but will certainly be enough to put a dent in your need for stuff. If you want any specific kind of any of those things just pm me.

Ill be bring some Chili, BBQ Pork Loin, and Sauages. I'll bring bottle water and sodas. The water will come from our finest Hialeah tap. Dont worry, technology has improved. They now use a screen door to catch all the big stuff.
