You should/could have called FWC/PIER yourself!

I saw the same crap when I was there last week, my personal favorite was the guy with a 14" mutton, he knew it was illegal, kept it out of the water for 5 minutes while measuring it on 4 different rulers, hoping it would magically gain 2 inches.

i added the number to my cell, many a times ive seen a-holes poaching undersized and making the infamous multi trip to car and restock cooler. i dont agree with breaking the rules like that, its a part of fishing that people ignore, but it needs to be respected and practiced. thanks again for the #

to all of you the Tarpon bite is ON! I had the luck
of jumping several Tarpos in the surf at J. Lloyd.
My chances increased during low tide and standing
on the dry sandbars. Cast out as far as you can.

Don't forget... anticipate the slack and bow to the silver king.

There're lots of mullet for the taking with a cast net.
Or you can rig a whole ballyhoo. Clip the tail with scissors to avoid
spinning and twisting your line.

Went there on sunday.. I had a good time getting the usual fish. Kept getting mad herring under the t, so I kept sending them out.. they kept getting huge bites getting bit from them and their eyes ripped off

But I kept missing them, or ended up in the bottom.. (Think I need heavier line , when I get cutoff) So.. didn't get much, but I did catch a pretty big triggerfish but wanted one abit bigger than that. WIll try next week also when the weather stops getting so crazy.

Hey guys, today I went there at 7:45 am, till 4:35pm but only 1 mac, 2 little snnapers under size, and 1 cuda, that one cut off my friend line, mutton were back to the water......

many bait, herrins, bally, mojarras, blue runners
and plenty of trash everywere pier was nasty.......... no wind, very hot..
next time maybe better

Fished from 4p-8p with my kids. It was a beautiful day but not for fishing. The water was clear, not much bait around and pretty quiet up and down the line. We caust a blue runner and that was it. Virtually no bites or nibbles.

Mabye next week.

Actually there was a very large school of bigger pilchards there halfway out, and small ones in the surf. There are Pilchards there everyday. Ceros yesterday at the T. 1 Snook over 40 inches approx, caught and released.

Sunday,.. Ceros and 2 Kings. Tarpon have been around here and there everyday. Nights are small snapper, a few Blues, and last night a kid walked out carrying rod in hand, a 5 lb Porgy in the other, still on the hook. Funny stuff.

The moon gets far more credit than needed most of the time when it's huge. If you want to go by that, then early rise and when it's setting.
Nights are no biggy yet. Some smaller Muttons, a few keeper Groves, occasional leftover Bluefish, and of coarse Tarpon & Snook are all about. Snapper fishing will pick up as you get in July and August and the Groves do the spawn thing. I have bagged up glass minnows for chum and have large hole chum bags to get them turned on when they start appearing more frequently. Still the best bet now is fishing morns and afternoons at the end. Nice Ceros and a few Spanish, and of coarse the chance at the King lurking about. And there is just about always Snook inshore.
And most importantly,.. the beer is solid!

Pretty much, Some small inside with glass minnows.
The big ones are out, 2nd telescope to the T. Just look around. Been here every day.

some of those are "whiting" yes, but some are "atlantic croaker"
