l used to have a boat and had to get rid of it. I have tried to go to the Dania Pier and Anglin's Pier with my family and have come up empty every time. Any suggestions? Location, baits or gear....

If the kids are young ones, the goal is quantity over quality. A sabiki may be too tricky, but you could modify it to 2 hooks. Bait it with bits of squid or shrimp and drop it near a piling to pull up...

Is braided line, say 40 lb. test braided any good or not. Whats everyones favorite pound and why? and what size slip sinkers. I really appreciate all the info you guys are giving me. Maybe someone can...

I try to use the least amount of gear possible, and I prefer mono over braided. I haven't hooked up that many tarpon, but every time I get one on braid, it snaps the line because there is no stretch....

Went this past weekend and going again this weekend, if weather permits. Caught limit of mangrove snapper and two hogfish....made a great fish cookout. Went with live shrimp and fished a few feet off...
