Im gonna be in the South Beach area this weekend. Has anyone done any fishing off of the 195 (julia tuttle)bridge? Can you just pull over and fish or is it not allowed? If so, are there any spots woth checking out in the area? Thanks

Tent city under the bridge. City cleans them out once in a while but they move back before long.

As long you are not a underage boy or girl you should be safe. Carry a big big knife to cut your bait. :D

I'd say go off of 395, where the cruise ships are, instead. The only fishing I ever did here was for an hour or two before work when I used to work in the area, although I never really had any notable catches I have seen some large tarpon cruising the area. Plus you wont have to worry about the sketchy folk that lives on 395. If you catch anything please post a report because I'm curious if this spot can be productive.

Good Luck
