We have a good many rod builders here and also those with much to offer about reels, so if you need help with Rods-Reels- or Wrapping do it here

Your title is rods and your post is about reels....whatever it is they usually arn't found that cheap. But two of my fav. online sites are Rivermarinesupply and tackledirect.

^^^^Cheapest places you'll find cheap reels/rods. Also try your local pawnshops, you might get lucky and find one in there.

Even on Ebay and craigs list Vanstalls are not cheap. You may find an older one for 1/2 price, But it will be selling as is. Meaning anything could be wrong with it and your stuck with repair bills. You may want to set your sights on a high end Shimano or Diawa from a overseas clearing house that uses Ebay. Here is a link to one on Ebay right now. They are not very common on either site.
