You may convince some people that have notr seeing fishing in the keys
but when you have fish specially channel 2 as much as I have over 25 years
you can not fool me or some of the others around that don't even bother

I have fished the keys 2-3 times a month for about 7 years. There are definitely plenty of mangroves that size and bigger down there, maybe not as many from Channel 2 b/c it gets hit so hard but they are definitely there.

No it's definitely true. They saw it on the bayside off of Channel 5. Fish must have been sick or very disoriented. They free gaffed it from what I have been told by a couple local charter captains. Just found this link, apparently they got another one around there a year later.

Take a look through some of the Keys reports and picture threads, you will see plenty of quality snapper and grouper caught from the bridges
