02-10-07- AM (spectator) report
Was up in Jupiter this morning so I stopped by the Juno Pier on the way back to work- from between 9:00 am to 10:00 am- haven't been by there in a while:
Didn't see anything being caught along the whole pier yet. And it wasn't too crowded. There were no surfers to watch for closer to shore & no boats in sight near the T as well.
Wasn't too windy out- mild breeze. Water was clear the whole length of the pier. The surf conditions were not rough at all, so it looked like a good bet if anyone wanted to take a kayak out off Double Roads, either for fishing or setting baits from the beach (didn't see any schools, but that don't mean they are not around). The sun was out, no real cloud cover so if you go, don't forget your sunblock.
Enjoy!

Beach
I was out there in the surf on the south side of the pier and caught a 4-5# bluefish that i took down to long key for bait. It produced some nurse sharks, as they were everywhere.
Nothing else would touch my xrap or gotcha from the surf. Maybe I wasnt casting far enough. Neway, ill just have to try harder next time.

Oh my ear is out. I'm still waiting for my first chance to hit that pier when something is actually biting.BoatlessFisherman wrote:All I have heard as of today was Croakers this week, I am sure bluefish hit and miss.
This pier is going to be hopping soon so keep an ear out.
