Thank you for the report Charles and welcome to the forum! It is always good to post whether you caught fish or not! The fishing will stabilize and yes, become better. Tomorrow, Oct 20th it should be on fire I believe as it will be a relatively calm day after quite a line of "bad days". If you plan on going out there though, pack a wind breaker, for us floridians 50s are a bit chilly!

Rob I blame that on the canal water! Fish don't like it, thus the green tinge! They will be back, give it a few days! Good time to fish the backwaters btw.

Sorry for late post...Sunday Am 6-10. Caught a few short pomps and 1 12inch just as sun came up all on goofy jig.....scattered macks and a few decent grovers under the pier on the reef. Current was heading South and wind was NE but felt like it was trying to go West as I was leaving, you could smell the bacon on the T

8) Wasn't northeast in the morning yesterday while I was there. That started as I was leaving. It was west early on, as I could smell every piece of $10 bacon that was cooking.
handful of Macks this morning, but not many. Got a few, biggest around 4lbs. Small Pomps and Jacks here and there. That's all you need to know. The rest is a secret.

Never good if you smell bacon frying on the T. How much extra did they charge you to smell the bacon ? $ 1 a whiff ?
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.
